Bride’s Log : Day Six Part XII : End of the Party

We did some more mingling, but our crowd quickly dwindled. Especially once the bouquet and garter were tossed. Those that kept the party alive kept it alive until the end and it was really fun to get to mingle a little more intimately with people in a relaxed the-party’s-almost-over setting.

It was time for the bouquet toss. Lucky for me, many of the gals had been pre-warned of my namesake and no one needed to be dragged out to the floor. Some people were really into it.

The garter toss was quickly followed by the bouquet toss. I’ve decided that there is never a flattering shot of the bride when the groom retrieves the garter.

Eventually, the atmosphere got really relaxed and even though people were still dancing, some of us were just hanging and chatting. šŸ™‚

And some were monopolizing the photographers for funny photos. I loved seeing these after the wedding because I had no clue they’d happened. šŸ˜€

And the dancing was still going on.

I, meanwhile, was catching up with old bosses and reconnecting with people I hadn’t gotten to talk with in a long time. It was pretty spectacular.

When one song came on, I dragged Erick over to teach a couple of our photographers some moves. It was so cute and I’m glad there are pictures of this.

Eventually, the night came to an end. Even though we still hung around for a bit, we chatted with our DoC and photographers about the Disneyland park shoot for Monday morning and moved all our belonging upstairs to our suite.
