Bride’s Log : Day Six Part VIII : Room Reveal
September 3, 2014
We had the pleasure of getting to see the reception room before all of our guests. It was really neat to have the chance to take in all the details before everyone else got to enjoy them.
Although not over-the-top like some reception rooms, I loved how it turned out. It was just enough and not too distracting over overwhelming.
I’d really had some doubts about how our centerpieces had looked, but when I see the photos from the photographers, I really like how they turned out in the end.
Every guest got a special button commemorating our wedding day. Similar to the event buttons you can get at Disneyland.
This was our head table where our parents sat with us. We’d known from the beginning that we didn’t want a sweetheart table, but we also knew that trying to have all of our wedding party and their dates would make for a very full and somewhat over-crowded table. This was perfect.
When we saw our cake, I got pretty excited. Can you blame me? It was amazing and exactly what we’d envisioned. I was looking really hard for a hidden mickey, but I never found one. 🙁
Getting to see the room all set up, it was almost time for everyone to come in and get seated so that we could enter. Yay! We were feeling very excited for food at this point.
