April Adventure : Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars (Let’s Catch Up on the Year)

Welcome to the December “Let’s Catch Up on the Year” blog-a-thon segment! XD This is where I’ll be sharing some of my many adventures I experienced over the 2015 and 2016 years. Many of which I had intentions of posting, but ended up never doing! >.<;; Last year, I shared my birthday adventure in wine country. I had such a blast that I decided to do the same this year and even ventured out of my comfort zone from my beloved Castello di Amorosa.

Selling at Fairs : Why NOT to Get Discouraged

I’ve been working really hard on close to all my spare moments on my side business that I’m slowly trying to shift more and more into the public eye. I have spent hours researching tips to business success. I whittled away hours on Pinterest for advice on craft fairs, booth set up and what people wished they had known going into their first fair. The irony of it all?

It didn’t really matter because the fair its self was just the wrong one for my product.

Wrong audience. Wrong focus. Wrong place.

And there is NO WAY to know that fact unless you are planning years in advance to scout out one particular fair and how they handle their vendors, where they put them, watch how interested the targeted crowd are in shopping with the art vendors. And guess what? Events are usually switching things up each year. Very rarely is it the same thing every year so it’s nearly impossible to predict what to expect the next year.

Graduation Gallivant 2015

This was my first time completing an education program since my high school graduation, so it was a big deal to me and I wanted to have some fun with it.

On Friday, I attended the graduation ceremony and received my certificate of completion. Nothing much to share that is unusual for a graduation ceremony. There were smiles and hugs and congrats and all that jazz.

To check out the first half of the weekend beginning Saturday, go here!

Our Saturday was very full and kept us busy. Luckily, I’d planned for a much more mellow and laid-back Sunday. We would be returning home today as well, but I still wanted to make sure our day was full of adventure.

A Magical Adventure: My Napa Valley Birthday Weekend Part 1

Now that the year is coming to a close and things start to mellow out of the holiday celebrations, I felt like catching up on some of my more in-depth adventures I’d been better about photographing and capturing, as promised at the beginning of the year.

Without further adieu…

Happy Halloween!

It’s Halloween~

What a fun evening! Wine, delicious food, laughs and good times. The only thing lacking were some spooky spirits, but I was very happy settling with the liquor kind.
